The Nine Gates to the Kingdom of Shadows, written by Aristide Torchia, Venice 1666. A book purportedly based on the abhorred Delomelanicon (a tome said to have been written by the Devil himself!).
This is the premise of Roman Polanski’s film, “The Ninth Gate”. Based on the bestseller The Club Dumas by Arturo Perez-Reverte.

This is a totally handmade book, realized with a particularly coating based on paper, resistant to water and it is like the cloth ( the same coating is used to make wallet, belts, tags and more ). No leather.
The book has 236 original latin pages printed on ivory pages with aged borders ( paper weight: 80 gr ), the book's size is 22x16 centimeter about, thickness will be 1,8 cm with a frame on the cover engraved by hand and a black star with golden borders in the center of the cover.
You can choose the version that you want: Kessler, Fargas, Balkan, with all engravings signed LCF or AT...
